Secret Escape in Northern Italy

The name of this hidden gem: Bogliasco


Bogliasco is a town of about 4,500 inhabitants, part of the Metropolitan City of Genoa and the Italian region of Liguria. It is a typical Ligurian seaside village known for its beautiful white beach, the clear ocean and the pastel-colored houses along its seafront. It's proximity from Genoa makes it a perfect day trip from the capital of Liguria.


Besides relaxing on the beautiful beach and enjoying the Italian sun, in Bogliasco, you can visit numerous ancient churches. Recommendable are the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Church of Santa Chiara as well as the small Sanctuary of Our Lady of Grace. Given the small size of Bogliasco you can visit the whole village by foot within 1 or 2 hours before you find a nice and cozy spot at the beach enjoy la Dolce Vita.
